Working Together to Make STEAM Education Accessible to All
The BioBAT 21st Century Workforce Development initiative’s goal is to create a science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) pipeline that starts with Brooklyn students and ends with a local 21st Century workforce. BioBAT’s commitment to education, outreach, and engagement encourages New York City students to pursue careers in science and rewards science educators committed to their students.
The image on the left shows just one way in which BioBAT continues to engage with innovative educators and students; Ashley Abid is featured as a panelist in Making STEAM Connections Event, an entirely virtual networking event on STEAM education.
